GDI Hardware commercial and residential kick plates are made of 0.06-inch thick stainless steel and are available in many sizes and finishes. The adhesive-mounted kick plates are blank plates. Adhesive strips make for easy and quick installation. All kick plates have a protective film on the surface. Please remove this protective film after installing the product. See our Amazon storefront for magnetic- and screw-mounted kick plate options! MEASURE YOUR DOOR: 1. Measure the width of the door. 2. Subtract 2" from the width of the door for stops and weather stripping. 3. Measure from the bottom of the door to the bottom of the first panel. Then subtract 1" from the height (if your door is flat and does not have a panel, choose your desired height). 4. If the bottom of the door has weather stripping, do not include that in the height. EXAMPLE: A 36" wide door with a 9" tall bottom rail would use an 8" x 34" kick plate.
